Mon-El has returned and so has his feelings for Kara. He's guilt tripped all throughout the months he's been back. But will it be worth it in the end? Maybe he'll get the love of his life back and more or he'll have to go back to the future and be with the legionnaires.

What if Krypton's destruction never happened? Kara is living her best life on Krypton. She is on the path of becoming a great reporter. Kara is from Krypton and Mon-el is Daxam. Some say it was love at first sight. Their home planets didn't get along, so when Mon-el's mother shows up unexpectedly it creates a tension. Queen Rhea of Daxam would do anything to get her son, Mon-el back. But when Rhea threatens the city, Kara is forced to cede the atmosphere with lead killing all the Daxamites. I turned to look towards him. He was always her with me when I dreamt. He held me close to him, it was like he was afraid of losing me. Like this was the last time he would hold me. How do you fall in love with a soldier that is fighting against your planet and killing your people? How do you fall in love with a girl your supposed to kill? One war between Daxam and Krypton brought two star crossed lovers together.

It's been 3 months and Kara is still reeling from the loss of the love of her life. She's determined to find a solution and a way to bring her boyfriend back, will she be able to keep the promise to always come back for Mon-El? This is how I think Karamel should be written for Supergirl Season 3 - slight angst and lots of fluff (All characters are owned by WBTV and DC Comics)
