Fanfic as an imagined follow up to the ending of "Champion"; part of Marie Lu's series "Legend" This is how I like to think their story continues after that (it's mainly just cute moments and occasional heated moments - both sexually and verbally - between the two). Hope you guys enjoy :) (fanart creds unknown, if anyone knows leave a comment) For those of you who haven't read the Legend books (I strongly suggest that you do so), the final book ended at Day and June being reunited after ten years of Day having forgotten her because of a disease/surgery that caused him to forget the events of the last two years. SPOILERS IN FANFIC AND DESCRIPTION PLEASE FINISH THE LEGEND TRILOGY BEFORE READING. The beautiful story of Day and June and the War between the Republic & Colonies ended in June's POV, with her meeting Day (or should I say Daniel) again 10 years later. However I thought it would only be fair if we got to hear Day's POV of his encounter with June I mean he was the one who lost his memory and was left behind. Has Day really forgotten all about June? Will he ever remember his past and what they had together? I know I don't really conclude the series but I just wanted a little more hope than what Marie Lu gave and I really wondered what was going on in Day's mind so this is what i came up with. Enjoy!

~This is an AU Legend Fanfic. All rights for Day and June go to Marie Lu. Everything else that is not Day and June related is mine. I orignially work this as a project for Biology, then I turned it into a fanfiction. Hope you like it! This basically takes the line that Day says when he wondered what would happen if June and he grew up in the slums together. This is what I think would happen with my twist on it. The date is 2649. And the world is in utter chaos, the earth isn’t what it was many years ago. Here in America, it only a fraction of what once was a glorious country. The Floods were relentless, covering most of every country, the only country that remained relatively the same is Africa. Eventually the ozone layer failed everyone, which the heat caused the massive floods and crazy storms. Storms raged at frequencies far beyond prediction.

Legend fanfiction. After June and Day's argument in the tunnel, June decides to leave and leave a note telling him goodbye and she's sorry. Day finds her while she is writing it and trys to talk her out of leaving. Disclaimer: I do not own these characters.

At the ending of Champion by Marie Lu, June and Day meet again as adults but Day still doesn't remember June. In this short, their story comes to a more completed end as June tries to get Day to remember who she is.
