Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sister who ruled the land together, and brought harmony to the land. The elder, raised the moon to bring the beautiful night while the youngest, raised the sun to bring the day. Over the many years, the youngest sister grew resentful, as ponies admired the moon and stars. One day, the youngest sister refused to lower the sun to make way for the moon. The eldest sister, tried to reason with her, but the youngest refused to listen. Bitterness in her heart, the youngest sister turned into a devilish mare, Day Breaker, she vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal burning day. Reluctantly, the eldest sister harness the most powerful magic to pony lands, The Elements of Harmony. Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony, she defeated her younger sister, and banished her permanently in the moon. The elder sister took on responsibility, for both sun and moon and harmony has been maintained in Equestria for generations since....

Blazing Firefly is a filly who loves star gazing. She loves Luna and Celestia, though often times she finds Luna more appealing than she looks. In Ponyville, she cannot find friendship, as she is singled out for liking Luna. She finds out about a community for those who like Luna. She understands Luna and the night. Akin to Luna, she'd rather hide and disguise herself in the dark, then be the one who is the center of attention in the oceany sky. As she grows older, she matures and sees more than meets the eye. She will learn about dangers that face her, including learning about growing a little bit older.

What if it was Daybreaker instead of Nightmare Moon? An AU where Celestia turns evil instead of Luna. ________________________________________________ The lovely and well beloved ruler, Celestia, has a great power. As the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility. Celestia lacked the responsibility but the power kept growing, along with the need for attention. She wanted to be worshipped by every pony, she wanted all the attention to herself. Luna seemed to grow more popular by night, visiting ponies in their dreams and keeping them safe while sound asleep. The moon will rise, and there will be a cool night after a hot day. Many ponies began to notice the one they had referred to as Celestia's sister. Celestia never loved Luna as she deserved, and now she grew jealous of her. Each day, she began to hate her more. 'I should be noticed more than her, what's so special about the night,' Celestia thought to herself. But such is the way of the limelight, it sweetly takes hold of the mind of its host. Suddenly, a solution formed in her head. 'What if I got rid of her instead?'

A friendship problem arises in Canterlot and it's up to Twilight, Dusk, Sunset, Glare, Starlight and Stellar to solve it and that problem turns out to be the Royal Siblings arguing. Meanwhile Twilight and Dusk deal with royal problems of their own.

It was perfect, Princess Celestia was dating her immortal student Twilight, and no mortal pony would ever have her. Tempest, finally free of her guilt, arrives at Ponyville to learn more about friendship from Twilight and her friends. Tempest never stopped loving Twilight, and Twilight realizes that she's been missing out on the feeling of true love. Princess Celestia isn't okay with this turn of events, not in the slightest. Cover art done by snobbleweb! This story is finished, but there might be sequels, prequels, and alternative endings in the future to wrap up the unresolved subplots in this story.
