( cover art by agnusatanae on twitter ) the world always had a way of playing cruel jokes on you.. /this/ world especially. no matter how many times you died, & no matter how much pain you endured, nothing was enough. this was the entity's realm after all. during one of your trials, you find yourself acquainted with an old 'friend'; though the word 'friend' was definitely an under statement. you didn't think you'd ever see him again, and especially not here, but the more you found out, the more of a stranger he became. you were last one left alive- /the final girl/. it was the usual trial, except this one would leave a wound unlike any other. was it really /him/ behind that mask? surely you were mistaken.

(Y/N) was always a quiet kid, scared of large crowds and very easily overstimulated; college is no walk in the park thanks to her social anxiety. She finally finds a friend in a 'lost spirit' named Danny, communicating with him through her phone, anonymous notes, and little gifts. You grow close to the ghost, finally having a friend. But then your enemies start to disappear. And you know who's behind it all.
