On the way to Namek, Son Goku never arrives.
A training accident in deep space ends the one hope Earth had against Frieza-leaving only silence where a savior was supposed to be.
When the truth reaches Namek, there is no prophecy left to believe in.
No Super Saiyan legend waiting to awaken.
No last-minute rescue.
No second chance.
Only survivors.
Vegeta. Piccolo. Krillin. Gohan.
Together, they form an impossible alliance-not out of friendship, but necessity, as Frieza's forces and the Ginyu Force begin to erase them one by one.
Desperate, they use the final wish of the Dragon Balls to pull every remaining Earth fighter into the war. For a brief moment, numbers create hope.
But hope does not equal victory.
As Frieza transforms beyond anything they can withstand, the battle becomes a slow collapse into tragedy. One by one, the strongest warriors fall, each sacrifice buying seconds against an enemy who does not need to try.
In the end, only Gohan and Vegeta remain.
And even then...
winning is no longer certain.
In a final act of defiance, Vegeta sheds a lifetime of slavery and hatred, choosing to die not as Frieza's pawn-but as a free Saiyan.
And Gohan answers that sacrifice the only way he can:
by refusing to let it be meaningless.
What follows is not victory.
Not defeat.
But an ending suspended in chaos-where Frieza screams inside an explosion that may or may not have ended him... and a child stands inside the aftermath, still fighting long after hope should have died.
Because no one ever came.
