That connection should've broken when Damian returned to Nanda Parbat and Danyal didn't, because death is the end, isn't it? - Danny Fenton used to be an al Ghul. But he's been a Fenton for a long time now-surely his twin brother has forgotten about him. Good thing he won't need to be rescued any time soon, right?

When the Ghost Investigation Ward finally goes under, defunded and ridiculed for their inhumane ways, they're forced to team up with the only other facility where they can covertly continue their work under the guise of being for a greater cause - Arkham Asylum. Tim sees a floating green blob and believes it is a delusion, but it is actually a ghost, one of the victims of the murderer he caught. The blob ghost latched on to him and refuses to leave. As Tim finally admits to himself that it's real, more blob ghosts attach themselves to Tim, hoping he will catch their murderer too. Finally, his family notices that something is amiss with him and attempts to figure out what is wrong. Meanwhile, Danny in the Ghost Zone hears that there is a human, in the living realm, that the blob ghost can't stop praising. (Rights belong to their respected companies)

Danny Fenton is largely regarded as an ignorant slacker as a result of his schoolwork and study time consistently being interrupted by ghost attacks. Thankfully after Danny is crowned high king of the ghost zone he is able to reign the ghosts in and makes them all swear an oath not to cause trouble, they are still allowed to visit the human world of coarse, some even mask themselves as human and lead ordinary lives even while being dead. With more time on his hands and little to no ghosts attacks Danny misses the rush he used to get. Then one day a man collapsed in front of him, Danny is able to save the man using CPR and he discovers his new affinity. Medical practice.

Danny figures out he's adopted and does what he does best: Rushes into things and crashes. After royally messing up, he ends up in Gotham only to discover that his birth mom is a world-famous cat burglar?! They decided to go on a ghost hunt together. Rumor has it that this house is very haunted. So they're going to prove it. They tried to kill him and almost succeeded. Now he was in a city he'd never heard of because the Infinite Realms decided to yeet him into another dimension! He doesn't even have money! At least the GIW couldn't find him now. Too bad there were weird ass furries following him around. Yet another magical fight led to a temporary Ice Age in Fawcett City. Billy almost froze to death. He'd only holed up in Gotham because of the cold and the mage that Batman needed him to lock up.
