This is something me and a stranger wrote a long time ago, I don't know if we were in our right minds when we wrote this.... It's very short but it was fun to write, probably not even that good. I was going to post this after we finished but I didn't, it's been a year so I might as well do it now. Based on a photo of Alfred and Arthur playing Dance, Dance, Revolution.

It's the year 2000 and Micah Demir thinks he knows everything about game. What 15 year old doesn't? When he plays Dance Dance Revolution with his friends at the mall, a new girl steps on the scene and shows him how it's done. Or does she? I had a dream the other night where a young boy watched a demonic figure watching a city, watching and prowling, keeping them inside. When I woke up I started to write it down, because something about it struck home with me. This story is one from the perspective of a ten-year-old boy named Efram who sees the Grenzentruppen der DDR (those who watch the Berlin Wall at night) from his window. He can't understand what they are at night, and so his imagination creates a beast--called the Wraith--that devours anyone who tries to escape. Because he cannot understand what is truly happening. While I don't know very much about the Berlin wall, I tried to write all that happened in my dream with as much clarity as I could.
