It has been quiet for a while when during practice at Karasuno, he receives a message from his sister saying that mom and dad were killed. He was devastated but didn't show it. He had an older sister and brother with a younger sister. The eldest, Jason, was old enough to adopt so he adopted his siblings. They were all assassins so they all had jobs.
