He pulled the barrel of the gun out of my mouth. My red lipstick left a stain around the edge. "You know I like you Jessica." he murmmured. I chose not to respond despite the two goons holding either of my arms nudging me to say something. Instead I chose to spit at his feet. Giovanni Giordano turned around after setting his gun on his desk. He smirked at me. "I think I might just keep you."

It's pretty weird for Kristy to be made editor-in-chief of the school paper. She's never been interested in that kind of thing before. Then she's told her brother's got to be on the paper, too, no questions asked. And the the accidents start, terrible accidents... exactly as the unknown voice on the phone predicts!
