They aren't threatening, but their presence is unsettling. Kimmy, now aware of the crystal's unusual power, is torn between awe and fear. She knows she must be careful, as this gift could be more of a curse, but she can't resist the pull of the mysterious energy that the crystal provides. As the dead begin to communicate with her, Kimmy learns she's been given a rare ability-a bridge between the living and the afterlife-and it's up to her to decide how to use it.
