A group of eight individuals are living in a time period where the universe is close to it's inevitable end. However, old folklore and Egyptian Hieroglyphs propose that a unique group of eight will stop the fate of the world and universe. However, only two of the eight must sacrifice themselves to save humanity. And what happens after they sacrifice themselves, you may ask? Light.

for those that are new. a Applyfic is where you enter a character into a book. I will put in some chat areas but for the most part it is just a character you put in. we were too late. the atmosphere is gone, and the surface is toxic. Those that go up usually never return. Those that do do not remain the same. We are dying, slowly. Even the once populated underground tunnels now remain silent and still. What was once 8 billion turned to 8 thousand. There needs to be a way to get off this, murderous and cold wasteland.

The sun has erupted, the cold has consumed the world. Marci is only 16, confused with all of this situation. Nathaniel is 18, given a task by Marci's parents to keep her safe until they reach the Hiat. Pickers roam the streets, looking for the next to join the 'Frozen'. Ice is slowly consuming the earth.
