A story where Deku helps Bakugou navigate through going deaf.

Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done. This was inspired by mha bakugou cosplay TikToks After overusing his quirk Bakugou Finds out he's going t o go deaf not long after he gets into ua high school he's still the same guy but not as loud and mostly likes to punch stuff but within the friend group Bakugou somehow makes there's a boy that wants to understand what Bakugou is going through

Katsuki's quirk was harming him. It was making him go deaf. Ever since he was a kid, the explosions he creates were damaging his hearing. None of his classmates really understood. None of them except for Izuku. When his hearing-aids stop working in the middle of a mock-fight in class no one else notices. Except for Izuku. How does he keep managing to surprise and infuriate Katsuki at every turn? Why does Izuku care so much, and more importantly, why does Katsuki?

While out at a nearby store getting supplies for their work studies, Midoriya and Kirishima accidently bump into someone on their way back to UA's campus. Startled, the person activates their quirk and the two boys pass out. They wake to find a note reading "Sorry, should wear off eventually" They also wake up noticeably smaller in a pile of their formerly-fitting clothes. TLDR: The reverse of my previous work Babysitters Kiri and Deku where Todoroki and Bakugou get to be the babysitters now. Though, obviously, many a mistake will be made.

many years of his loud quirk blasting in his ears finally caught up to him. of course, Deku was the first to notice Katsuki yelling louder than normal and him leaning closer to others to hear better. but Deku knew that Katsuki didn't have it in him to tell anyone.
