Rise Donnie x deaf gender neutral reader Y/N has been deaf for as long as they can remember, and it has made life difficult. Whether they lost their hearing in an accident or were simply born this way, they don't know, but they have realised over time that the bustling streets of NYC don't stop because one person can't understand what's being said to them. They've tried to adapt, but it hasn't worked well for them yet, it gets even worse when they unknowingly walk into an ongoing battle between a group of mutants. I use BSL, so forgive me if I get some ASL signs mixed up. On top of that, I haven't written fanfic in over five years, so I might be slightly rusty.
