Dean now only has a year to live, Hermione does everything she can to make sure he doesn't go to hell. But since the devil's gate has been opened there is more work to do for Sam, Dean and Hermione.

After the crash, Dean and Sam have a hard time getting through the loss of their Dad. With both their Dad gone and the Colt they have nothing to kill the yellow-eyed demon with. Hermione will do everything to help the boys with the grief of their father and finding that yellow-eyed demon to kill it.

After Dean got dragged to hell, Hermione and Sam are trying to pick up their lives again. Hunting for Lilith and finding a way to save Dean. Hermione never would have thought that an old acquaintance would help them with that.
