Deanhuijsen Stories

The night after Bournemouth's 2-0 win over Everton in the FA Cup, the players from Bournemouth decided to celebrate it by hanging out, and playing truth or dare. 19 year old Dean Huijsen saw that as a good opportunity to experiment a bit. He had been wanting a kiss with a boy, just to see how it would feel, so he sat it up so he could have a kiss with one very specific person. Dean Huijsen ♡ Illia Zabarnyi

In a world obsessed with pressure, power, and precision, 16-year-old Jamie-Lee Rey is already rewriting the rules of greatness. Born to football royalty - her father, Hugo-Leo Rey, a former Spanish footballer who ruled just below the likes of Messi and Cristiano - Jamie-Lee was raised not with praise, but with relentless expectations. He never told her she'd be a champion. He told her she'd need to fight like hell to earn that right. And she did. Half English, half Spanish, Jamie-Lee became a phenomenon long before she left school. Sharp-tongued in interviews, cold under pressure, but secretly warm and hilarious off-pitch, she quickly became the GOAT-in-the-making of women's football. Her story mirrors Max Verstappen's intensity, paired with a natural charisma that no one - not fans, not rivals, not the media - can ignore. From breaking through at Barcelona Femení, to choosing Liverpool in a shocking transfer move, Jamie-Lee blazed through every expectation. She didn't just win - she dominated. A Ballon d'Or by 16. The heart of Anfield by 17. Champions League matches with Real Madrid legends watching. And somehow? Still playing for her school team in Barcelona's district leagues - just because it matters to her. She trains with the best. She's friends with Europe's brightest. She rolls her eyes at interviews, ignores the hype, and shows up with fire in her boots. Jamie-Lee Rey isn't just a player. She's a generation-defining force. And she's just getting started.

Lucija Catalina Laszlo-Iglesias only wanted experience when she started working in football social media. What she didn't expect was the day a young defender walked into her tiny office looking for somewhere quiet to finish his schoolwork before training. Meeting Dean Huijsen was supposed to be nothing more than an awkward interruption. Instead, it becomes the start of years of crossed paths, late conversations, different cities, and almost-moments that never quite happen at the right time.
