Dean Winchester's family moves around a lot, and by a lot I mean at least 6 times a year. Dean and his little brother, Sam, have never been in school more than 3 weeks, until his last year in high school. Just like his father, he has drinking problems and he had issues with his father with an "incident" that happened a long time ago... Castiel Novak was never one to stick out. In fact, his family bred many brothers who like to "stick out". He didn't have any friends aside from his elder brother, Gabriel, who didn't even go to to school with him. Good grades, college credits, and perfect attendance were on his side, and he was so ready to escape for college to get away from his dysfunctional family. I wonder what will happen when these two become friends.

With Castiel gone and the knowledge that Sammy gave up on him settling like a heavy stone in his stomach Dean yearns for times gone by when simply calling Cas's name would bring the Angel to his side, now, however, his calls go unanswered but for the ever present illusions. As he passed out the drinks, the one they called 'Crowley', the one with the wicked voice, who they called 'Crowley', called Cas over to see his coffee. "Is there something wrong?" Cas asked looking closely at the cup to see what could possibly be wrong. Just as he said that, Crowley splashed the fresh coffee in Cas' face and like a domino effect the others threw their waters at him. Cas stepped back only to slip in the puddle of water and coffee and fall on the floor. Then Crowley got up while laughing and pulled out some money. "This is for the drinks, and here's a tip for making it so funny." He said as he tossed the coins at Cas, who was holding his face in pain and struggling to take a breath. As the entire group left, Cas slowly tried to get up, surprised to be helped by one of the members of the group. It was the one with the green eyes. He knelt down next to Cas and Cas stared at his eyes until he finally said something.

Team Free Will has to go to a gala in order to retrieve a former possession of the ghost they're hunting and Cas says he's never danced before. Dean, although volunteered by Sam, teaches his angel how to dance.

In Castiel's senior of high school, a new student, Dean Winchester enters his life and through many flirtatious remarks and innuendos, changes it forever.
