3,051 children lost a parent on the 9th of September 2001. At 5, Laura Marano lost her superhero. 10 years on and Laura still can't get him out of her head. If only there was someone who could've helped him out, then maybe he would be here today. One day, every year, the wound that opened the day he died reopens. Laura often finds herself wondering if anything will ever be the way it was before. Then Laura finds Ross and everything changes. But Ross is hiding something, Laura is sure of it. Ross acts as if he has known her forever but she has no idea who he is. She always has this sense of déjà vu whenever she sees him but she has no idea why. Laura and Ross become inseparable. That is until Ross suddenly disappears after Laura remembers where she saw him. Only then does Laura realise how much she needs him and how much he meant to her.
