The craziness which ensues when a half-dead man, Henry Norvill, wakes up in the hospital and comes in acquaintance with a ghost lady (or, in this instance, a ghostess), a Nazi-cloned doctor, and a love story, too. A snippet of my short story, "As for the Ghost". This story wasn't intended to be anything serious, but something written for fun, but feedback would be greatly appreciated!

The year is 2203. Scientists have created a cure to every disease there is, including cancer. Now they have a new goal. Creating the perfect human. One with great ability, intelligence like no other, beauty, enhanced senses and so much more. Ariana, and three others were selected and labeled the M.I.E. labs as their own, before birth. All four being turned to the "perfect" human. But their experiment is nothing but perfect. Now three of teens, are already smarter then Einstein and many other brainiacs before them, stronger then the strongest man and faster then any Olympic runner. Other ones dead, or so they know. Killing Myself is a suicidal story that tells a life. The people in the story are real but none of the events happen. But in the story, I start out as a normal child, then I suddenly change. I've been secretly chugging down pills, I've been cutting, and been in deep depression.

I saw a pic on Tumblr and went "hey that can be sad" and went with it

A demon is evil. Cold and indifferent. Some are the roses of society, lovely, till you notice the thorns. Others are the vampires. They're the ones that lick the crimson blood off their lips with a smile creeping onto their face. Yet, both the rose and the vampire have something in common: feelings of ecstatic joy from the torture of other souls. And as she lay there motionless, my heart lets out a cry. It's as if the cold logical part of the brain holds the heart captive in it's own house of horrors. Thus, some would say a psychopath is born, empathy shut off, and only the sick forms of joy afforded by cruelty. I look around the teal room, with grey wicker chairs, a flickering bulb, and a rose carefully placed on the windowsill. Just like the movies. Except, have you noticed how the vampire and rose always come together?
