Once in a blue moon, there is one whom even Death cannot kill. They walk unseen, much like mundane humans, but they are different. Their very being consists of an entirely different essence, one that is unique to them and only them. One that will save their lives, over and over until they want it to. Until it becomes too much for them to bear.  Of course, this is frustrating for Death, but he knows he will win eventually. The attempts on the Death Cheater’s life that fail are painful, wearing away at his bravado, chinking away at the armor he has worked so hard to put up. But still, he waits. Silent and foreboding.  Because he knows- no, he has learned- that man can only hold out so long.  Eventually, they will come to him. Beg him to take their lives. Withdraw their essence from their souls and offer it to him, willingly. All because they cannot stand to live without the ones they love. Because they are tired. Because they want to rest. It’s the same thing every time.  Every human has their flaws, and Death Cheaters are no exception. They are much too attached, clinging on to things that they feel are important. Sentiment is a chemical defect found on the losing side.  Death knows this, for he has been a constant throughout the years, always there. Waiting and watching. Waiting for human nature to take it’s toll so he may strike- strong, hard and fast. It will all be over. Humans are much too fond of everything.  Death is right. For centuries, he has battled Death Cheaters in the shadows, waiting them out until they beg for mercy. He always wins. Never loses. Well, that’s about to change.

This is my near death experience (NDE). This is what I experienced on a day in December, 2019. I continue to talk to others who had a near death experience also. Through them I learn better ways to express what I witnessed and saw, so bare with me as I am trying to educate myself, learn, and grow.
