The ongoing history of Metal. This one is just for fun, and probably only fun for Heavy Metal and Hard Rock geeks like myself... The idea is simple: I wanted to bring together the ESSENTIAL Metal collection. Each short chapter gives information and trivia about a specific subgenre or icon in the world of Heavy Metal and is accompanied by the essential playlist of said subgenre or icon. I don't own any of the songs I list, these lists are pure for my fun and to promote some underground and forgotten artists. I urge people to support the original artists :) I also do not own any graphical art or logo used (although most of the artwork seems to have disappeared). This is a songbook to a random album we wrote overtime. We really don't care if you don't like the songs, and it is here for your enjoyment to read. One song is really... disturbing... before warning. O.O We are an a' Capella band. That means we make the music with our mouths with occasional allowance of hands and feet clapping and slapping to help set a beat. We usually don't pull together original songs. We just do metal songs, (Asking Alexandria, Bring Me The Horizon, Sleeping With Sirens, ETC.) pop songs (Simon Curtis, Britney Spears, ETC.), or YouTube stars (PEWDIEPIE and ONISION ALL THE WAY). I'm going to do a cliche thing here and post some song interpretations/lyrics. I don't know why I decided to do this now but with most of the music I listen to people only judge on the outer appearance of the sound. They don't stop to appreciate the effort people that are making music go through. So I thought I would share the lyrical content and my interpretation of some songs (Warning: Not all songs will have personal interpretations so :p). Also, I felt like this would be one way to get to know me... Because I live vicariously through music so if anyone was that interested lol I would love to talk music too with people that happen to stumble upon this? Edit: So this might be more like...me putting my feelings out there about either me or things that I think should be addressed? Like...I don't know. I post a video for every song so if you just want to get a new playlist going. Nothing wrong with that either.
