Before the maze, Newt leads a different life, a happier one. His dad was his best friend and he spent most days with his girlfriend (Y/n) who he'd do anything. When Wicked started hunting them things got more complicated than the threat of getting the flare. They were leaving to get to the right arm when Wicked closed in on them taking Newt away as he sacrificed himself. (Y/n) only lived and fought for Newt's sake, and she feared she'd never see him again. Three years after he was taken, he was back but had no idea who she was or what they'd been through together.

Sapphire arrives in the glade, just like every other greenie, but there's something she just can't grasp. Everyone seems to have come to terms with having no answers, but she struggles to accept that. Closure. Is all she wants. "Live for me, if not yourself. It's 60 years after The Death Cure. All of the characters you knew from The Maze Runner series are now dead. Most have peacefully passed away in The Safe Haven but Gally, Minho, and Thomas are the last to die. In the afterlife, shortly after they have died, they find their selves back in The Glade. Final installment in WICKED games! Based of The Death Cure movie (sorry book fans, I would, but it's way easier to go through the movie for dialogue and references than reading the whole goddamn book, and as you know, i like to keep to the original storyline as much as possible) and I will be adding my own little details and taking some, ah, poetic license.
