In a Tokyo where reality had been rewritten into death games, survival is no longer a matter of chance but it's the only rule. Every card flipped is a trial: Spades demanded strength, Hearts tore at trust, Clubs fractured cooperation, and Diamonds twisted logic into weapons. Naoya Mikage was built for systems. A semi-pro gamer turned streamer, he lived by cooldowns, risk tables, and meta-strats. Strategy was instinct. Trust was optional. And carrying solo was always safer than relying on a team that could drag him down. To him, life was a series of games waiting to be optimised. But the Borderland wasn't a simulation. There were no respawns, no viewers to entertain, no reset button when allies die. The games strip players down past logic, and every victory costs a piece of yourself forcing them to face the one mechanic Naoya never mastered: connection. As the lines between strategy and humanity blur, his solo-carry mindset begins to crack. He's always been Player One. But in a world where the wrong choice kills and isolation is a death sentence, will Naoya keep fighting alone or finally find someone worth calling his Player Two? ----------------------------------------------- Alice in Borderland is owned by Haro Aso

Kyra Swieth. I'll protect you and love you forever, even if it's just a virtual world, my feelings do exist in the real world. (Flashback) I was walking in the park with Mom when I saw her. I was still just a kid but she made my heart beat fast. And as our parents talked, I continued to stare at her. "Hi there. What's your name?" "Uh...me?" "Yeah. Who else could I be talking to? " "Ah...I'm Louis." "Well, nice to meet you Louis. I'm Kyra." She extended her hand. "Uh...nice to meet you too." I accepted it. "Kyra, let's go." Her mother interrupted. "Yes Mommy! Goodbye Louis." "Ah...bye." (End of Flashback) Now that I've seen her again, I swear I'm going to protect her from this deadly game. I'll protect her from this virtual-turned-real world. Because...I love her. That's why I won't let her die. -x- Author's Note Hey there! Nice to meet you readers! I wish you'd like this story...I mean 'coz it's my first story. So yeah. Tnx. MAJOR EDITING!!! *Part 2 of the Nanoua series. Sneaking out of my room, I flashed through long corridors, down the stairs, and into the back garden of this grand castle. "Have you watched him?" "Yes." "Did he suspect you?" "No." "Has he done any thing at all?" "Yes, and..." "And?" "And... I love it when you act all serious, M'lady." "LEO...!!" "Hhh, feisty lady." "Ugh... you were saying." "Nothing serious. He's acting normal, but in a suspicious way." "You know what I mean?" "Something like that." "Keep him under your eyes at all times." "Got it." After our quick review, I was about to flash back into my room before someone notices my absence when suddenly a warm hand grabbed mine in a split second. "So... wanna go on a stroll?" "Now?" "I don't know... it's a bit too dark and cold at this time outside."

Year 5079, the human population has increased to fifty-billion people around the world. The world is almost dying as global warming is slowly evaporating the sea water around the world. Because the population of people is too much, the current president of the United States announced that they had made a game, called the 'Death Games'. It had three deadly stations, the Maze, the Time Bomb mansion and the Death Chamber. The only rule is no killing each other, only the game will kill you itself. One million random people around the world will be selected and if no one survived, we will restart the game until a individual or a group of survivors won the game. E-mail will be sent to the selected people holographic screen. John Kagen, a nineteen-year-old boy is one of the one million people that was being selected. In the game, John had found his true love. Will the story have a happy ending lets find out! PS. My first book. A lot of grammar mistakes. Inspired by the hunger games.

***PUBLISHED*** It took one mistake for him to die; it would take two to kill him twice. Kansas native, Lea Anderson, never thought he would die at eighteen in his cap and gown, mere hours before his high school graduation. He definitely didn't imagine he would meet his end at the paws of his arch nemesis, his sister's evil calico. It's too bad he doesn't have nine lives to spare... After his sorry ass lands in the Afterlife, the real trouble starts. But even in death, things don't go exactly as expected. With limited allies and an ever-increasing number of enemies, he finds himself stuck in the Afterlife's most dangerous entertainment, The Death Games. But could this blunder become his biggest break? Unlikely friends and unexpected attraction, gruesome contests and a chance at a second shot at life, they all await within The Games. Can he survive death long enough to live again? Or is he fated to an eternity enslaved? Because if he doesn't win, the loss might be worse than death itself. A single winner, a second chance-one thing's for certain: Lea is not in Kansas anymore.

Warnings: Swearing, Death, Trauma, Depression (You have been warned so don't blame me for anything) Sung-Ho My name means "Bright"... So why is it that his life has been nothing but dark? Maybe it was referring to Dae-Jung his first friend and his only light. They met in high school and became best friends and Sung-Ho hoped it would never end but right after high school finished, Dae-Jung disappeared to study abroad. Now 7 years later they finally met up again at their high school reunion only for it all to be interrupted by THE WHOLE FUCKING WORLD BEING TOOKEN OVER BY A FUCKING NOVEL! This obviously annoyed Sung-Ho but what concerned him was the fact that he had actually read the novel, which was called "Merciful light" and the tragedies that would come with it. So now he plans to change it, wonder how that'll end up! But knowing Sung-Ho, he would be willing to do anything if it means his beloved Dae-Jung would be safethough now a bunch of other idiots are coming along and falling for our charming Sung-Ho... WITH OUT SUNG-HO AND HIS DENSE ASS EVEN REALIZING IT. (yeah, he's unaware of their feelings like most other characters that are in a harem)
