I do not own deathnote and this is a non-canon story, this is a fanfiction. - What it is about: This story takes place in 2020, a long time after the kira case ended. I wanted to interpret this story in a different perspective of an detective. I will show how I think kira has influenced the world, even years after his true defeat. This story will dive into another topic, there will be no mentions of a new kira. I wanted to write about how I think Near would operate in the future and how some of his cases look like. I wanted to write this story from a lot of different psychological standpoints and about different thinking and state of minds, from different individuals.
