STALKER Interview; Pripyat, Saint Rosemary Hospital Interviewer: "Alright, camera's on the role. First thing we should ask you is about the environment of the Exclusion Zone, what's so "terrifying"...As you put it" The Interviewer shifted in his chair, crossing a leg over the other STALKER: "..It's, something really. The forests are red, the vines curl around buildings, it's beautiful , ..but-terrifying to say the least, if that makes sense" his tone was one of worry, but one of curiosity. Interviewer: "Seems reasonable. Tell me, many of the scavengers we've interviewed have spoke of a boy, youngest of all of you, and with a heart of bravery and hands of brutality?...The Eyes, I think they called 'him'..." The Interviewer tilted his head in curiosity, his pen-clasped hand sitting absently at the clipboard in his other ... STALKER: "..The Eyes?...Where to start....Well, he is a boy, yes, around 14 or 12 I don't know. He helped those who were trapped under debris and killed ravenous beasts corrupted by the radiation, his hands...Always, had a odor of dry blood on them. They always were bandage wrapped. One of our guys spotted him cooking a creature on a fire, using his own fingers like a spatula to flip the meat....He's terrifying for his age...Patrols had been single-handedly stopped because of his methods and intentions...I talked to him once in a abandoned building, he does this all for his dead father he said...And for curiosity..." Interviewer: "That's...Making me shiver just at the visualization *chuckle*...Do you think he meant to do the things you described?" the Interviewer wrote a few sentences down on his clipboard. STALKER: "He probably does it to survive and get out of the Exclusion Zone Alive. As for the average unspoken rule "Life is Better Than Price"...So" Interviewer: "I see...Mm, I think we are done here" The interviewer nodded with a smile as he got up. END OF INTERVIEW

he does not know where he came from nor why he exists. he simply has one mission, stop the destruction of humanity. he has been given this mission, no, this purpose, by the god of darkness. he is Mako, and he is death. I was inspired by Cliff from death stranding for this character.

***This piece is abandoned but is going under revisions as of Feb 2023.** SPOILERS FOR DEATH STRANDING EPISODE 9 TO COMPLETION. Humiliated, frustrated, and alone, Higgs Monaghan is left stranded on his Beach. After being spared by Fragile and made powerless by Amelie, he will spend eternity isolated. When granted a connection to the other side, Higgs chooses to reach out to a porter looking to reconcile. He wants forgiveness and a second chance, but she wants nothing to do with him.

"You see! Keith ever since you left, Lance had been... well lack of a better word! Unstable. He didn't listen anyone. He isolates himself, constantly had a nightmare. Me and Curtis had to keep on eye on him for every night because of it. He wasn't the same after you... left!" his eyes changes and now was looking like an anger. Keith waited for him to speak again. But nothing he just shakes his head went to his desk. "Shiro, What happened? Is he ok?" Keith was worried about Lance now. he should go. Go to Lance. Apologies to him, beg him for forgiveness. Maybe he won't forgive him, but at least black rock that was stuck in his ribs for almost a decade could finally dissolve.

Despite saying he was going to quit his search, something (or someone) keeps him coming back to the beach.

Sitting at the table you tapped your fingers nervously against the wooden surface. He was late. And he was never late. Was everything alright? Did something happen to him? Maybe he got hurt and had no way to contact you? So many thoughts racing through your head and you had no way to stop them. You couldn't help but worry. On one hand you knew that he was strong and resilient, that if anyone had what it takes to do all this, it would be him; on the other you couldn't ignore the little seeds of anxiety rooting themselves in your brain, always reminding you that this time something could go wrong. You didn't like the feeling, but you couldn't help it. The more you cared, the more you worried.

If you like video games and such, I'm writing this for those who love the characters.

(Note: I began publishing this prior to Death Stranding's release in November. I apologize if any character's behaviors or actions do not line up with how they are in game.) "We can always... tweak the rules a bit." Higgs has always been an outcast. He has never known anyone that gives him love or support. He isn't much of a father, either. But the idea of a Bridge Baby fascinates him. He soon grows attached to the infant strapped to his chest. The baby is the only one that will listen to his problems. That is, until Sam comes and messes with his plans. This is set in an alternate universe where Sam is the main villain to Higgs, who is a Porter. (This is a Sam x Higgs story. It will contain some sexual tension towards the later chapters. It also has a sex scene at the very end.)
