This is based around the beginning of season three.

20 year old Kyouki is a now weaponless meister trained in the art of the mercenary with an incredible power that kept her alive for over 800 years. She used to fight madness side-by-side with Lord Death himself and her boyfriend, Asura, Death's right-hand-man. Asura joins sides with the madness and becomes the one and only Kishin, the world's greatest source of madness and destruction. After Lord Death imprison's Asura in a sack of his own flesh, Kyouki leaves in anger and despair. After Kishin Asura is reawakened by a witch, Kyouki returns to her former home of Death City, which houses the death weapon meister academy founded by Lord Death, to try to help capture the Kishin because she believes there still is a hope for him to be saved from the madness. Tensions rise when everyone doubts Kyouki, saying her love is too far gone, and Kyouki's dark, tortured past haunts her to the core when she returns home. Will Kyouki follow her heart and save her love, or be consumed in the madness of her past?

I came up with this idea because Kid is obessed with symmetry and there's the Hitachiin twins....

After being late to school one day, they meet up with Lord Death's son, Death the Kid and tells Soul about a dance to celebrate the defeat of the Kishin, Asura. Soul plans to ask Maka to be his date for the dance and plans to confess his love. Will Soul have the courage to ask Maka to the dance?

Soul Evans, the Demon Scythe weapon of Scythe Meister Maka Albarn, had been being consumed by the Black Blood Madness. Professor Stein and Maka Albarn working hard at finding a way to get Soul out of it before it takes over him completely. Will they be able to save Soul on time? And will they be prepared for the untold obstacles ahead?

And how it will effect the two now as they get reassigned as partners once more now as adults, you'll see not much has changed over the years.

Blake the Grim meets another reaper in an alley fight.
