Meanwhile, Lycurgus is unsure whether he wants to help his old doctor start a war, and the Mai Shashi has some news for them, about the Shriekers, and on how she got mixed in the current situation. As an Earthquake strikes my home collapses on top of me. Trapped in the debris of my home I am pinned. As all hope seems lost, unexpected events stir up my survival chances

Earth was destroyed because we disagreed. When the west and south started a war, beasts that should have never seen the light of day were created. North America burned after a series of bombs spread across the land, and the fire that covered the rest of the world. Half of the population was turned to ash, and the few survivors struggled to live. Aphid has grown up in a world of rust and ash, hanging on to anything she had left after the war. When that is taken from her, she relies on Thale, a drifter who comes from the west, to help her get it back. (On pause)

Everything was normal for Bella she had an amazing family and an awesome best friend, but all that changed when nuclear war arrived. Her life became very different and she had to go through many challenges but was it all worth it or was her life just over?

A woman has been living in her own little world, every day following her happy routine until a man shows up and inhabits the neighboring house. He soon explains and enlightens her to the past that they shared and also notifies her of what her task is in this beautiful made from her mind. Will she come to remember and come to terms to the things that happend a decade ago or will she deny his story and go back to her daily routine of life?

Troy has been sending supplies to military bases all his life. It was nothing out of the ordinary. Several people had jobs that required them to assist with the military in some way. What Troy didn't know was that his job was for something quite different. He soon finds what he was meant for when his dimension traveling airplane crashes into a whole different world.

"I saw her running, running as fast as she could. Her jet black hair flowed behind her in the wind. Her face was red, and tears streamed down her cheeks. I was driving down the road when I saw her, and she looked at me, seeing me coming. She then stepped in front of my car. I slammed to a halt, making my friend Christian and I lunge forward." Two people, a girl and a boy. Both broken beyond repair. Both struggling with life and wondering why bad things happen. What happens when thy meet? Will they be each others Guardian Angels?

It took me a while, but i think I understand it now. People purposefully hurt themselves. They crave the pain, the rapid emotions, and the adrenaline that come with it. They want to be damaged both physically and emotionally. At some point in time I decided to stop letting people in, to stop giving people the ability to earn my trust. I thought it was to my benefit to stop giving people the oppurtunity to hurt me, but I was wrong. We all want pain, so we hand people knives knowing they will use them against us. Trusting people is just another version of self-harm, and I think that's why we trust so easily.

Quick little single stories based off interesting little prompts I find. Each "Chapter" posted is a new story, and each story will tend to float around the 1,000-3,000 word count.
