(ON-GOING) The Philippines, 2125. Are you curious what will happen exactly one hundred years from now? Will cars finally soar above our heads, turning highways into skies? Will the world be so high-tech that humans barely lift a finger? Or... will robots rise and take over everything we thought we controlled? What about the future of us, our country, our leaders, our people? What will politics in the Philippines look like in the year 2125? Who will rule the cities, the islands, the entire nation? Will we still fight for freedom, or will freedom already be redefined? In 2125, the world is ruled by technology, yet haunted by forgotten promises of the past. Somewhere between the ticking of the present and the silence of tomorrow, two souls collide. One carries the weight of history, the other the spark of what is yet to come. But destiny is a circle, not a straight line. And when hearts learn to travel through time, across memories, across centuries, love becomes the only future worth fighting for. Because maybe the question isn't what kind of future awaits us...but who is waiting there with us.

The world of humans has been free of any magic or supernatural beings for eons. While the human world cannot see them, the world of magic can see the reflection of the human world faintly in their skies. A young prince glazes up at the human world in wonder. His thoughts full of wonder and adventure. In the world of the humans, a lone girl has too always stared up. Majority of the time, she sees stars. Every now and then, she sees what looks like the reflection of a city made of gold and silver. When she would see this, she would assume she was sick. Soon she will realize how wrong she was and just how connect to that gold and silver city she is.

This is my first post. Its a short google doc that's two pages. It is about two characters who are family and meet up after many years reflecting on what their lives have become and whether or not they like where they are in current time.

In "The Spectral Bride," a chilling tale unfolds through the eyes of her Tita Rosa sharing an old family legend with her young niece. The story centers on Margaret Wainwright, a beautiful bride who vanished mysteriously on her wedding day. Her disappearance left the guests and family in shock, with rumors of dark forces and unfulfilled destinies swirling around her fate. Decades later, her spirit is said to haunt Ravenwood Manor, eternally searching for something lost. As Clara listens to her Tita Rosa's haunting tale, she becomes engrossed in the mystery of the spectral bride. The prologue sets a suspenseful tone, introducing the supernatural elements and the lingering sadness of Margaret's unfinished story. The spectral bride's presence is felt even in the present, with ghostly melodies and an air of unresolved tragedy, inviting readers into a world where the past refuses to stay buried.

Teens Claudia, Elliot and Cameron re-write history while trying to survive the troubles of the people from their past. Will they make it back to their time? Or will they stay in the unknown world of time travel?

You have it all, a dream career in Hollywood and not to mention being in a long term relationship with Tom Hiddleston since 2001 and entering Hollywood together and still being together despite all the media attention. You were both famously recognized for your relationship and appearing in interviews and on talk shows together but as things take a drastic turn in 2016, when your relationship falls apart and Tom moves on publicly, but who will you move on with?

This “Death and Delight” collection for The Atty’s 2012 is an extract from my other two compilations published simultaneously on Wattpad, under the titles “Decades of Death” and “Decades of Delight”. (Feel free to peruse them in the Poetry section , and please comment freely - your input will be valued). To provide the right context for this Atty’s selection of 10 poems one should view the full introductions covering each of the two compilations. In short however, "Decades of Death" is about the awful horror, brutality and cruelty which mankind has created in this world we live in - our only home for now. “Decades of Delight” is however about love and beauty and parades how life should be. Both compliations are works in progress (In real life and in my poems) and I will continually be adding to them (hopefully with your encouragement). This Atty’s 2012 competition is my “maiden voyage ” into the world of poetry publishing – although I have played around with poetry and songwriting for years. This collection of poetry (in contrast to my Decades of Delight collection) is my “protest” at the brutal world we live in. The idea of capturing it in poetic form first came to me near the end of the 90’s and I thought to call it the Decade of Death because it seemed that no one decade could be more filled with hatred and violence man to man. I was wrong. Although the idea lay dormant for over 15 years the increasing horror of man’s actions has not. Be clear; I do not believe it needs to be like this, but it is. Yet, few seem to understand that the world cannot be repaired or changed by killing those who you disagree with. War can never truly be “won”. In this modern day it has become more tragically evident that until you have killed every last one of your enemy, including every last one of their broader families and all their children, the war is not over. It has now become an awful fact that if you annihilate all but even one child of the enemy, you will still have an enemy; and that single remaining enemy will probably nurture a greater “cause” than those you fought before, due to the very fact that you have murdered the people he loved. This applies as equally to terrorists as it does to those who sincerely hope to eliminate terrorism. It cannot be done through killing! It can only be done through love! We should constantly recall that all combatants are actually human. God’s creation. We should treat them as such. Enjoy the read – make the world a better place; every day. Andipien

The decade. Rock 'n' Roll. Doo Woop. Elvis Presley. Marilyn Monroe. Poodle skirts. Heels. Ties. Sweaters. Probably one of the best time periods. At least that's what I believe. My late teen years and early adulthood years were some of the best. If I could go back for even a minute, I'd go back. __________________________________ This work is copyrighted.
