Roman and Remus are brothers in an orphanage. Nobody ever adopts them because they refuse to leave without each other. One day a couple comes to the orphanage and decide they want Remus. Both brothers argue against this and do everything in their power to stay together, but their efforts are futile. Roman searches and searches for his brother to no avail. At least until... There will be verbal abuse and physical bullying. Nothing will be super detailed, but just be warned. There will also be mentions of depression/depressing thoughts. Hi! This is basically a Sanders Sides SVTFOE AU, so things are gonna seem the same as the show, but I'm gonna spice it up a bit! Hope you enjoy!

After losing his partner to an unknown illness, King Thomas was left to raise his twin sons, Roman and Remus, all by himself. Thankfully, he had the help of his loyal servants, Joan and Talyn, to care for the two princes while he continued to run the kingdom all on his own. Skip to a few years later, the twins were now twenty-one years old and were both next in line for the throne. King Thomas declared Roman as the new ruler of their kingdom, and supported Remus in his decision of becoming the Captain of their family ship, "The Dragon Witch", so he could travel to neighboring kingdoms and formally settle an agreement with them, or offer any of their tradeable goods in exchange for theirs. All was well, to say the least. Up until a month has passed with no Remus in sight. Usually, he'd be back from his "missions" (as he so liked to call them) in a matter of days, a week at best, but he hasn't shown up nor showed signs of returning.
