Adam and his family were banished from the city and stranded on an island that would later become Pleasure Island. Adam and Michael began building an amusement park. But hatred and betrayal grew in his heart. He asked Jack to kidnap the villagers' children and take them to the island. In revenge, children are transformed into donkeys, which are then sold to salt mines. Adam and his family lives now in a small town called Danville. They're still circus performers and they still have shows. Everyone in town is talking about the circus who arrived a snowy December day.

A small desolate village in the north pole rests soundly on Christmas Eve

Louis, an unsuccessful Uni student, has been receiving little gifts and letters ever since he moved into a run-down flat across campus at the beginning of December. The notes are written out 'To: Lou', without anyone ever signing their name, making the easily-frustrated, young man more frustrated. Between his own personal problems, and his low-paying job as a cashier in the campus's cafe, Louis eventually gives up on trying to find the supposed 'Secret Santa', and moves on with his studies. But what happens next year when the process just repeats itself? Waking up on the first day of December to find a present neatly wrapped on his doorstep, along with a well-written poem, leaves Louis baffled once again; but this time, more determined to find out who this 'Santa' really is. 2020 was a challenging year to say the least.
