Decim Stories

Whenever someone dies, they are sent to one of many mysterious bars run by bartenders serving as arbiters inside a tower in the afterlife. There, they must compete in Death Games with their souls on the line, the results of which reveal what secrets led them to their situation and what their fate will be afterwards, with the arbiters judging if their souls will either be sent for reincarnation or banished into the void. Though as Decim will find out that one won't need to have secret that need to be revealed nor want either fate.

This is my first fanfiction for the anime Death Parade. Yup. Hope you enjoy!

Decim respects anyone who has lived a fulfilling life, maybe because he feels like he has never really lived at all.

It's not clear and unfamiliar place, with strange rules and conditions. It's not clear how to get out of here. And who is he/she? Who am I?

Decim is sent into the human world to observe them and make notes of how to make the judgments back at Quindecim better. He tries to fit in with the humans as much as possible (by applying for college and even taking in human emotions) but is not here to make memories; he is here to learn. On a trip with a few of his peers to a nightclub, Decim runs into someone that seems oddly familiar to him: the soul that once inhabited someone special to him now inhabits that person, and they just happened to meet.

You cannot step into the same river twice - Heraclitus of Ephesus. What do these words actually mean? Are they really true? Another dead soul comes to QuinDecim. Nothing out of the ordinary. Only... Yahaira is just an assistant arbiter of decims helps with games and rules and judging (well sometimes) when chiyuki appears something changes . "arbiters don't feel emotions which it is out of there nature" is it really?

This is set after the ending of Death Parade. Chiyuki died in her second life and lands in Quindecim again. (Could have spoiler.
