I hate the serious looks on my parents faces. It just means they are going to tell us what they always do at the beginning of summer break. How my dad has been postponing his arrival into the new location the company is opening until we could finish the school year and blah blah. It is so exhausting, I already know this talk is coming when the schools confirm the last day before summer vacation, yet I always feel so anxious. It scares me not knowing what to expect from the new school, the students, the teachers, the routine. Every year I convince myself I won't get attached to anyone and I won't even try to make friends. However, every year when school ends, it tears me up to know I won't even be able to say a proper good bye to my friends and to that one boy I caught feelings for. There is no point in even arguing with dad, when I was in sixth grade he tried to work a way where we didn't have to move, but instead his boss offered more pay and benefits for him to relocate. It was honestly a no brainer, even I understood that.

And how would they get back ? And who would survive?
