Tristan of Steelbend arrives in the famous city of Hosanna with nothing but his beloved harp and a pocket full of dreams. In this beautiful Kingdom By The Sea, mysterious angelic beings known as the Seraphim rule and protect mankind from the insidious Devils. Tristan hopes for fame and freedom in his glorious new home. Secrets unravel the further he's drawn into the echelons of power within the city, and the price he must pay may prove too great a sacrifice. This decopunk re-telling of Edgar Allan Poe's famous poem 'Annabel Lee' was inspired by vintage science fiction, cyberpunk, and noir. The original story appeared in "Merely This And Nothing More", a collection of 'punked Poe' stories published by Writerpunk Press. The version published here is an expanded story containing previously unreleased scenes.

Willington is the most advanced city in the world. A symbol of modern society, technology, order, and functionality. A strict dictatorship divides its people into so-called "levels" based on their value. Freedom is a luxury; movement is a privilege. Yet there are people known as levelbreakers who are able to move between the city's strictly divided districts without being detected by the all-seeing AI that controls the entire city. Amber is one of them-a woman who has been an exceptional hacker since childhood. Living on the fringes of society, she struggles with loneliness in this cruel world. She tries to survive even though she has no reason to, and as one of the levelbreakers she stands against the entire city. On the opposite side of the system is Cassian-a corporate slave who spends most of his time locked in a cubicle, doing dirty work and operating on the edge of the law in order to protect a worldwide corporation that holds half the city in its grip. His career is his only hope. But when their paths cross, the foundations of the city of Willington begin to shake, and they become enemies of the dictatorial council. Both of them will have to fight their way through a web of dangerous technology and the roar of jazz to reach the freedom that may be waiting beyond the city's borders.

"Perfect World Somewhere" is now a Featured Sci Fi novel! Thank you to the Wattpad team and all of you fantastic readers and friends who have made my millennium ;) I hope this story inspires and uplifts others as much as it has me. *** Lily Fairpoole is a girl of many talents. Gifted with a brilliant mind and a beautiful singing voice, she excels at an early age, working as her father's apprentice in their robotic maintenance shop. Her loving family and complacent life in the rural town of Plumgrove are sheltered from the outside world, though the War with the Pruessian Empire has raged across Earth for two generations. Even the most peaceful havens fall on Black Sky Day, as the robotic armies of the Kaezer devastate the homeworld. Faced with overwhelming destruction, Lily and her loved ones begin a journey driven by sacrifice, and the will to remain free. Lily's struggle takes her to the strongholds of the resistance, the dreaded ration camps of the enemy, the glittering and powerful off-world colonies, and finally to the Ruby lift--the swanky and yet often chaotic space elevator operated by the Royal Crown Orbital Plaza and Resort. Chromed and streamlined rocketships, heroic robots, brave revolutionaries, flappers, and plenty of jazz! A blend of early twentieth century eras and possible futures, as well as a coming-of-age story, this is the first complete novel in my retrofuturistic "Family of Earth" series. This novel is in revision status, so please feel free to comment and leave any feedback. Note: This story contains violence and dark situations, in an apocalyptic setting.

For the last ten years, creatures known as Shadows haunt the town of Newdale, hunting the townsfolk and causing mischief and mayhem wherever they can. Some in the city rise up boldly to try to fight against these foes, but not Darian. Sixteen-year-old Darian Danforth VanEaton has never had any grand ambitions or outstanding life goals. He is content in his life as the son of a gardener, and he has never minded the family's tradition to send one person to the Pontsworth Academy of Magical Defense. He is perfectly willing to sit back and let life happen however it desires. Big plans and goals are for other people, not for him. He will do his best at whatever swordwork or mathematics homework is set before him, but he has no grand illusions that anything he could do will change the world. Darian is soon to learn that such a disconnected outlook on life is not healthy when surrounded by a pack of deadly monsters with nothing but a small suitcase to protect himself and the Shadowmancer himself closing in on him. Perhaps in order to truly live his life, it is time to make some decisions. Anticipated length: 70 chapters Updates every Monday

In the 20th Century, diesel power in Germany, Russia and beyond is life, competing against the superior micro-steam of America. Beside the grit and grime, fabulous architecture, panic in the streets, espionage, the worst war in history blooms and changes all. These pieces of flash fiction present random bits of the Legacy Universe's punk fiction/superhuman diaspora. These may not appear in chronological order, and may over time re-feature the protagonist from the first piece. Take a taste. See how you like it. Welcome to alternate history. NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE SAME UNIVERSE AS DOWN JERSEY DRIVE-SHAFT. IT IS THE SAME AS FOUND IN MY OTHER SHORT STORIES HERE ON WATTPAD KNOWN AS THE LEGACY UNIVERSE.

Dieselpunk Epulp Showcase Includes stories by John Picha, Grant Gardiner, Bard Constantine, Jack Philpott. This action-packed ePulp Anthology unleashes four new noir tales inspired by the pulp magazines of the 1930s and 1940s. Blazing brawls and gritty adventure awaits dieselpunks, nostalgians, die hard or pulp-curious fans. Hope you can take a punch, because these two-fisted tales hit hard! For young hoods, the Aether Age streets of mob-plagued Chicago present a world of opportunity. And Mack and Mickey are headed straight for the top in "That Sort of World: a Tale of the Aether Age." It's class-warfare in Citadel City as Pandora Driver and her Car of Tomorrow deliver rough justice to the elites and a douche named the Gooch in "Who are the People in your Neighborhood?" "The Wise Man Says" introduces Mick Trubble: a hard drinking, chain smoking charmer who bites off more than he can chew... then chews like hell. The Troubleshooter takes the grit and slang of a hardboiled detective and drops it in a dystopian setting that mixes Fedoras, trench coats, flying cars and android policemen. The dirty streets of Roanoketown were his home and his only family. Until he met HER. Now he'll follow HER into hell, tamahaak held high, and fight as a proud Indian against the Anglo Oppressors. He'll wager his life to be a true "A Friend of Spirits." Download if you dare!
