Unwilling to leave her one and only home, she chooses to stay, and is thrust into a military style world where school is about survival skills, self-defence, and what needs to be done to repair the Earth. But Defeat soon starts to realise that there's more to the Correctors than they're letting on, and when disaster strikes, she's faced with an impossible decision: abandon the people she's been trained to help, or embark on a terrifying mission to save them.
