Have you ever been truly defenseless? My name is Logan Vale, and I used to live a perfectly normal life, up until my best friend Alli Montgomery and I witnessed our best friend Rachel’s head getting blown up. To avoid going into the Witness Protection Program, we moved to Boston to live with some of Alli’s relatives… But our problems followed us. Now we have inhuman (literally) kidnappers monitoring our every move, not allowing us a moment of freedom. We can’t protect ourselves, have no knowledge of how to do so, and it’s beginning to look bad for us. Will I find a way to fight back? Or will I doom Alli and I further?

The characters go through different challenges, some make it, others don't. They are not for the faint heart. For they will give hope and light, but not without pain and sorrow.
