Historias de Defiants

The world has gone mad. Since the United Kingdom left the European Union, the UK closed their borders, in order to preserve national security. But the total opposite was observed: a severe separation of the population occurred, giving birth to the Conservatives and the Defiants. The first ones recognized the government and supported the army. The ones I belonged to. The other group was constituted by the rebel ones, so the government called them. They trained their own troops and fought for their freedom. Some didn't want to choose a side; they were the first to die. Some foreign powers tried to sort things out but they were stopped at the borders. That was ten years ago. My family was formerly a powerful representative for the Conservatives. But, before she turned eighteen, my older sister ran off and joined the Defiants. To regain a certain regard and place among the Conservatives, my mother sold my powers to the army. My sister yet knew only too well what reaction our mother would have when she'd ran off, but she left me alone anyway. Alone with my powers. And with my fears. The fear I'll wreck everything.
