Deforestation Stories

Once upon a time, Tigg's ancestors and Fann's ancestors-who barely, if ever, knew each other-shared the Million Acre Forr. Each ate their own meal, lived their own space, and walked their own path. In a million ways, they were different. And yet, no one gave it a thought-until humans stepped into the Forr. Humans made 'different' into something different. The ears, feet, skin, eyes, nose, temples, pulse, fur, and even the gut became different. Their right to live their lives has been violated. And yet, they were the ones to be blamed. "Body Parts" is a contemporary version of an Aesopian fable against deforestation and wildlife extinction. May "Body Parts" open our eyes to the wonders of their body parts, so that we'll appreciate their lives much better. May their lives remain real for our children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren-not just as a fable.

This is a poem I wrote on December 16, 2019 about endangered animals and how we humans are causing them to lose their homes due to deforestation and pollution. We are running out of time to save these precious creatures. Once they are gone, they are gone forever.

Cloud was living happily with her family until the monsters came and drove her and her family out of their home, the only home Cloud ever knew separated from the protection of her family Cloud faces many challenges to get back to her family while the monsters are right on her tail.

This is a short story made to address the issue that is deforestation. It is about a squirrel named Xyric that ends up in a very tragic situation trying to save his best friend.

Hey, this is a story leaning towards promoting environmental protection. The tree I've used in the story, the 'Sakura' or Cherrywood, is a symbol of abundance. The people in this story, by cutting down the Cherry tree, rid themselves of the abundance of resources. My first venture into poetry. A lack of form as befits a complete novice.

Mother Nature (Natura) watches over the only child she's ever held interest for; Ariel. Ariel has always had a deep appreciation for nature, especially since her father destroys it for a living. Her mother works her butt off trying to keep her away from him and Ariel leads a perfectly normal life, learning more about her green thumb than ever.

We thought we'd be safe. We thought going home by boat was a good idea. We thought it'd be fun.

Charlotte struggles to find happiness in her city as she slowly loses the things she cherished in her youth. As the world around her changes Charlotte feels something in her life is amiss.
