Just awareness of deforestation

Hey, this is a story leaning towards promoting environmental protection. The tree I've used in the story, the 'Sakura' or Cherrywood, is a symbol of abundance. The people in this story, by cutting down the Cherry tree, rid themselves of the abundance of resources. The deforesters are coming, and Karl the koala is in constant escape from this menacing force. The tree company has already killed many koalas and taken many others into the captivity of the zoo. But Karl has had enough of this treatment and he and his koala army fight against the destruction that the deforesters have produced.

Mother Nature (Natura) watches over the only child she's ever held interest for; Ariel. Ariel has always had a deep appreciation for nature, especially since her father destroys it for a living. Her mother works her butt off trying to keep her away from him and Ariel leads a perfectly normal life, learning more about her green thumb than ever.

The magical inhabitants of a rainforest fight to save their home that is threatened by logging and a polluting force of destruction. This story is based on Bill Kroyer's animated children's film 'FernGully: The Last Rainforest'. I really wanted to try out a children's theme so thought I'd utilise this idea and novelise it. My Earth. My pulchritudinous and the most desirable planet. It destroys me to see each Earth day getting murkier. The view from my throne shows the undeniable truth, this planet was gradually disintegrating into an uninhabitable environment. Increasingly the magnificent green that enveloped my globe fell away as if a concealed drain had opened to release unrequited beauty. What are we to make of all of this?

The world didn't end with a bang-it faded, Tree by Tree & River by River. By 2040, nature is gone, replaced by Artificial & Synthetic Food and controlled environments. People survive, but they don't truly live. On her birthday, Saanvika witnesses a world she never knew existed- Lush Forests, Fresh Food, Real Life.
