Alex and Connor became friends in time out when in 2nd grade. By senior year, Alex was in jazz band and had a 3.9 GPA. Connor on the other hand, put the high in school and couldn't get through a month without getting a detention. (His record was 3 weeks and 2 days.) Yet they're still friends, for now at least. Connor Murphy is basically a prostitute. He left home at seventeen and realised the easiest way to make a living was by selling his body, which takes a big toll on his mental health. He reaches the point where he feels as though life is pointless. Evan Hansen is a typical college student. He deals with medically diagnosed anxiety and mild depression on top of college classes and his outgoing roommate and best friend, Jared Kleinman. Trigger warnings: sexual, physical, verbal, and emotional abuse, smut, probably homophobic slurs at some point, sporadic cursing, mental illness, thoughts of suicide and self deprecation, and probably a few more I can't think of Slow-ish updates

A different death. A different letter mishap. A different relationship. A different reason. But the story is still there. What if Evan had talked to Zoe outside of Jazz Band?What if they started dating? What if Zoe had died? What if secrets get let out? What if someone gets hurt because of it? What if's build up, as does pressure, for both the abandoned and the grieving. They need support, and comfort. But to find it when the world is beginning to turn against them will be difficult. !!
