"A star shines its brightest, when it's starting to collapse." Another short Deidara fanfic, in an alternate AU, about what happened right before he set off for his final mission. I couldn't bring myself to write a Deidara x Reader just yet, so I created an OC, Hisakata. I've posted this on instagram (@dei.dara) already, but I've modified this a bit. Don't we all love bittersweet moments and hopefully-subtle plot twists? The dialogue from "prologue" was inspired by the anime Kakegurui. Please let me know what ya think!

Never again did you think you had to face him again untill he comes to kidnap your twin sister to the Akatsuki, but instead he got you.
