I countered passionately, desperation evident in my words and eyes.

Have you ever wanted a fresh start? To just forget that past events ever happened, and start completely new? Tobi Uchiha did not, but that's exactly what he received. After losing his memories completely in what the police call an attempted murder, Tobi moves to the biggest city in his country and enrolls in the biggest high school there. It was the city where many embarrassing and stupid actions on Tobi's part occurred, but also the city in which all of his good memories took place dozens of years later, even after his lost memories were regained. His clan was murdered, and he would have been, too, but miraculously, he survived. Unfortunately not all of him made it out alive, and this is the story of Tobi's adventures with his friends as he tries to regain all that was stolen from him. Maybe, not all of them have to stay as friends? --- This is a rewritten work of my first fanfiction The Next Day! I decided to rewrite it completely because it sucked but I liked the story line- if you want you can go read that lol. Thanks for reading!!

Deitobi, Deidara had joined the Akatsuki a year prior, and made friends with Sasori. Sasori was then killed, so Tobi joined. Tobi was out with Deidara collecting some scrolls of info from Kisame, and Deidara starts to realize that he actually has taken a liking to Tobi, but tries to get it out of his mind. And fails.
