"Then later, it was because I was a big three kid, I was bound to live longer."
"But, it doesn't make sense! look at me!" The man demanded.
Chiron was unable to comply until his favourite student grabbed him by the shoulder, forcing the elderly looking centaur to face the young man.
"I said LOOK AT ME!" Percy yelled, his voice punctuated by the surging wave and the clap of thunder.

Most demi-gods never make it to adulthood, but those that do often live long lives, and Percy has lived longer than most, far longer than he should. Now as Annabeth is old and dying he goes in search for answers to find out why he hasn't aged a day since he was 20, hoping desperately that what he'll find is not what he fears. That he will not be able to join his love in the fields of Elysium.
