After beginning as a oneshot about Crutchie Morris this story follows the Newsboys through their strike and shows the struggles this tight group of kids go through.

Nobody ever cared enough to find out their story, until now. It's a story of love and hate, good and evil, and about the struggle between who they are and who they want to be.

Sequel to "From Crutchie to Wheels." The lodging house has caught fire. The guys must stay in Brooklyn until they can find a permanent place to stay. Timmy is just causing all kinds of trouble. A Newsies Fanfic based off the chapters Him (part 1 and 2) in Newsies One Shots by @davey_fvcking_jacobs . I would like to state right off the bat that I did ask for permission to use his idea and he gave me permission. When I use what he wrote I will clearly mark it. Now the story is pretty straightforward. It's a soulmate AU between Crutchie and Morris. The characters will be based off how they are portrayed in the Broadway musical, as that is what I am more familiar with. Enjoy :)

Once the Refuge closes after the Newsboy strike, a 17 year old street rat is thrown back onto the streets with no family and no home. Terrified by her past, Clara tries her best to stay hidden from the threats of New York by hiding in the rafters of popular Bowery Theater. Things go south once she's discovered at the wrong place at the wrong time,leading her to a lodge house full of Newsboys.
