10 years have passed since Ash Ketchum became the World Monarch. There have been many challengers that have tried to take his title, but none have been successful. There doesn't seem to be any trainers who are strong enough to defeat him. Jaydin Silver, a 12 year old boy from the Johto Region, hasn't had the best life. Beaten, neglected and bitter, he believes he is useless to the world. The only thing he finds comfort in is watching his idol, World Monarch Ash Ketchum, and gives him hope that he can be as strong as him someday. Jaydin decides to leave his old life behind and begins his own journey to eventually become strong enough to face his idol and achieve his dream of becoming the next World Monarch. This is an original story that I've been brainstorming for a while. It will have dark elements in it but will still have many wholesome moments as well. I don't have an upload schedule so chapters will probably come out at random. Cover art not mine, and the MC kinda looks like that, albeit with some slight differences. This story doesn't take place in the Our Promise and Our Promise, Our Future universe, so just keep that in mind. Well, I hope you all enjoy! The kalos region. So many places to visit, and one of the most romantic regions in the world of pokemon. Of course, just like any other region, they have rules. By age ten, you are allowed to have your own pokemon. By age 16, you are allowed to go on your very own journey to travel the region, battle other trainers, and compete to become the most talented performer. This story revolves around two friends and their pokemon. One is child like and laidback, while the other is a hard worker and a perfectionist. One shall compete in the league, and the other shall become Kalos Queen. But, little do they know that they are in a much bigger picture than what they realize. I do not own pokemon.
