Long, loose strands fell against fair skin, the usual dark locks now being pulled back into a tight ponytail. Lilith made a repetitive motion with her hand, combing her hair with her fingers until the wild strands laid flat against her scalp. A few strings managed to escape, but that didn't bother her. She looked at herself in the old mirror Tim had in his room, slicking back the flyaways only to watch them bounce forward again. "I'm hoping to get some cleaning done...or at least try to."

It's rather difficult to sit down and write about the events that happened, but there's nothing else I can do now. The memories make my stomach clench and twist in knots when I recall them... even so, I know I don't remember everything. Some parts are completely blocked from my mind, but I suppose that is for the better. If I knew everything that had happened to me, maybe I wouldn't have dealt with... everything for as long as I did. It scares me to not know everything, though, taking all of my twenty-three years of living and only being able to make out a few parts. Stuff obviously happened, but I wasn't... there. I'm not entirely sure what I'm fully capable of, which scares me the most. My mind feels so lost from reality that I do not feel human anymore. One could compare me to a possessed shell of a being.
