When Persephone is kidnapped by a god and taken to the Underworld, she doesn't understand what's going on. But even he is keeping secrets from her, such as who Haden - her kidnapper - is relative to the gods' world. And all while Percy is held hostage in the Underworld, her mother, Demeter, is trying to understand the fact that her daughter has gone missing and no one will help her discover who has kidnapped her. She believed that Zeus would be the one to help the most since he is Percy's father but instead he does the opposite.
