Finding out you're a demigod sounds cool... until you realize everyone wants you dead. --- So apparently I'm a demigod. Sounds cool, right? Half Greek god, special powers, epic adventures... except nobody mentioned the part where monsters want me dead and immortality isn't included in the package. I always knew I was different, but finding out my parent is an actual Greek god was definitely not on my life plan. Now I have to figure out who claimed me, why I'm suddenly a monster magnet, and how long I can survive this whole "hero" thing. Because apparently being a demigod is less *chosen one* and more *walking disaster with a sword*. My name is Charlotte Winters and let me tell you a bit about myself. One month ago my parents told me we were moving from bright, sunny, Tallahassee, Florida, to cold, boring, Summerhills, New York. One week ago we first arrived at our new Summerhills home. One day ago I met my first friend of Summerhills, Miles Johnson, only one problem, Miles keeps talking about a summer camp he goes to, and how he's not sure it's for me. Author's Note: This story was written during my college days as part of a Creative Writing class activity. Our teacher challenged us with a "What If" prompt, asking us to continue or reimagine a part of Zeus' mythology using at least one original character from Greek myth.
