What if Chrissy and Eddie's souls were trapped in the Upside Down? After the others weakened Vecna, the souls he had trapped escaped from his curse. Chrissy manifests back into existence and Eddie wakes from the verge of death. They're getting a second chance at life, but there's no short of dangers where they remain. I love both of their characters so much and I wanted an opportunity to explore what could have been between them. I also want to stay canon, so I'm following the actual storyline while creating a side story of what might be happening between season 4 and 5. This story is told from Chrissy's point of view because I feel that we can all relate to a lot of her thoughts and feelings as we got to know the character of Eddie throughout season 4.
