For most of her life, Meera Flame has grown up believing that the supernatural world is full of nothing but monster that want to kill every single human, whether it's to feast on their blood or just toy with them. These are the views her father, Johnathan Flame, has raised her in. The problem is, Meera has developed her own views on the supernatural beings over the years. If humans can be either good or bad, why can't those suppose monsters be the same way? She might be wrong but I also might be right and because of this thought of her she has allowed herself to not judge too quickly and give everyone a chance to be good. Meera has now fallen for a man of that world, a werewolf. She has crossed the line between the world she's suppose to hate... The world that she has grown up learning how to kill. She is lost now, between the hunter inside her and the girl that is in love with Everett Tiscotti. Only time will tell what she will do.

Unfortunately, not only is she not safe when she's awake but for the past couple of days Meera has been haunted by her horrifying past in her dreams. So many years have passed... Why is this happening to her now, why is she having these nightmares, what do they mean? Question after question is forming in her mind and she will soon get her answers.
