Naruto sneaks into the Hokage's office, and finds an anicent scroll in an language he can't understand. He tries to do the hand signs, and this werid pain in his stomach. Everyone is sleeping when Naruto gets up. But when he goes to leave, he broke the door off....

Sadness. Loneliness. Pain. Three emotions Naruto Uzumaki was quite used to. He was the demon of the village. He never was sure why everyone hated him - but they did. And he hated them too. And when someone's lived in a world of lies for their whole life, they're bound to succumb to the darkness inside them. Naruto ran away from Konoha, having had enough of their judgmental stares and hateful comments on him. But the question is; "Will he return?"

Menma Uzumaki is Naruto's slightly older brother. They're twins. They're both pranksters with Menma being more mischievous than Naruto. And they both harbor tailed-beasts. Except...Menma harbors an extremely dangerous and powerful beast known as the Nogitsune. Essentially, it's like Naruto's Nine-Tailed Fox, Kurama. Nogitsune or as Menma calls him, Nogi, is the other 9-Tailed Fox that helped Kurama destroy the Leaf Village. It's a lot more unstable and expressive when it comes to possessing Menma. It makes Menma prone to fits of anger and hurting himself, because the fox's power grows whenever it feeds off pain and chaos. Menma being Naruto's brother...is always creating chaos. They were hated because of what they were. That got to Menma more than it did Naruto. How is it possible that twins harbor such dangerous beings? Well, their parents. Kushina harbored Kurama and Minato harbored Nogitsune. One day, he hurt someone he didn't want to. His brother. He regretted it and vowed a life of silence. Now he wears a mask over his mouth. Years have passed and no one knows what he really looks like anymore. Just that he was Naruto's older brother with black hair and blue eyes. But is that all? And what happens...when Nogitsune resurfaces and causes Menma's power to far exceed that of the Konoha 12, including his brother and his rival...Sasuke Uchiha. Will he learn to try to control it? Naruto Uzumaki was the hated child of the village. None of the villagers knew he was the son if their beloved 4th Hokage and Lady Kushina, who both died during the Kyubi attack. Minato sealed the 9 tails inside of Naruto as a last minute decision. The villagers hated Naruto for the demon inside him and abused him, took advantage of him. Naruto was brought in by Kakashi Hatake and Itachi Uchiha. He trained under the ANBU at a very young age. Naruto quickly climbed the ranks to be the Infamous Kitsune the villages admired and feared to this day, oblivious that Kitsune was the kid they hated so much. The hokage said that Naruto would be the best option as the next hokage despite his young age, and maybe surpass his dad as the youngest Hokage. But Danzo was jealous and ordered his men to assassinate Naruto. Little did he know that Naruto knew of his plan the whole time, easily preparing for the ambush. Naruto had enough, and decided to leave the village later on. He made many friends during his ANBU missions, very dangerous ones. The village needed Naruto to stay in the village for power and assurance that Naruto would not turn against the leaf with his allies in tow. It would be very bad for the leaf if that were to happen.
