Feeling bad, The Demon king took him in as he wasnt emotionless like people said, and cared dearly about certain demons such as the upper and lower moons. After taking the lowly demon in, things seemed to spark in an interesting direction. In this story, Tanjiro wasn't able to become a human after the fight against muzan and becomes the new king of demons. Now in the modern era, tanjiro is attempting to create a serum using his blood to make his demons walk under the sun. But he discovers the new hashiras of the now demon slayer are the same hashiras he met in the past. And that is when he gets worried, because he remembers their strength. But using whats left of his humanity to create a drug that will weaken him so much giving the slayers a chance to kill him. But most of his humanity is now gone. The now modern hashiras remember their past lives and nezuko, Zenitsu, and inoskue remember their past lives.

After defeating his mysterious pursuer with a last ditch effort attack. Kamado Tanjiro found himself in a world similar to his but different at the same time. With Muzan as his demonic mental companion, the Demon King known as Tanjiro will take the world by storm while surprised that both his sister and his counterpart in that world had their roles reversed. basically a remake in the canon Tanjiro turned back into a human in chapter 203 but what if he didn't? (There will be no ships) There will be new people! Some of you really don't like OC's or something but it makes the story less boring

After the final battle, Tanjiro became the king of demons. Kanao manages to turn him back into a human. But, do you ever wonder, "What if Kanao didn't succeed? What if the medicine didn't work?" (A KNY AU, I do not own Demon slayer.) This is a really shitty story so im sorry if it goes at a fast pace.
