There's once a prophecy spoken by a lowly peasant on a mountain located near the border of Israel. The news of the prophecy spread quickly. its speed was enough to reach the ears of Kibutsuji Muzan and the current head of the Ubuyashiki family, and when heard, they grinned mischievously. While on the other hand, the King beheaded the said peasant for his 'pretense' as a priest and for 'messing' with the almighty God. Because in their place, they do not know that demons exist and that, 'demons are just stories created to scare childrens' and so, they do not believe the peasant, moreover, he's just a lowly peasant, a lowly farmer, why should they believe him? Kibutsuji Muzan already knew who's the said 'person' in the prophecy and waited for them for thousands of years. Who was the said person? More importantly, what did the prophecy said? Tanjiro remembers the pain of being recently turned. The hunger that followed with the smell of human blood lingering about. The loneliness he dealt with because his sister was sleeping her hunger away. It hurt alot, but he will endure it.

Tanjiro grew up never knowing his parents with his siblings, Nezuko and Giyuu. Urodaki trained them so they could be demon slayers. (yes sabito is in the story but he dies). They passed the exam but the hashiras don't know about Giyuu's siblings so imagine their surprise when they were called to a meeting bc someone defeated uppermoon 6. on their journey they make friends and find out the truth about their parents and what happened to them. P.S Auto correct is trying to change Urodaki to yoda....

So hello! I decided to do my take on the demon Tanjiro trope! But it may be a little different than what you expect. There's always the classic AU where Tanjiro is turned into a demon instead of Nezuko and she goes on to become a demon slayer. Which is all jazzy and nice, but I wanted to try something else. In this world, Tanjiro will be turned into a demon during his time as a demon slayer. And a harsh reality will come upon his comrades and friends. Along with becoming allies with enemies. I don't think I'll shipping anyone with Tanjiro in this book just because I feel like tying in romance in this story will kinda affect the vibe I imagine for it. But don't worry I have other books planned. Speaking of books, this is my first one, so my writing is (WILL BE) kind of horrible.
